The Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition is composed of representatives from various resident associations in the City of Clearwater. Through monthly meetings we address issues that are of importance to our members.
Our mission is to advocate on behalf of neighborhoods in the City of Clearwater at the city, county, and state level and to provide information that enables citizens to make educated decisions regarding issues that have a direct impact on their quality of life.
Some of our goals and objectives for 2014 are to conduct public forums so that residents can be informed about issues. In 2014 we will be voting for a referendum issue that involves changing a tax structure in our county to fund public transportation. Flood insurance, homeowners insurance, crime, code enforcement and other issues are items that we will discuss and work towards finding solutions. We will also host candidate forums so that voters can become better acquainted with the individuals that are seeking public offices. Through out the year we will have guest speakers present topics to us on items that impact our community.
We are always seeking new members to join us and speakers to educate and inform us. If you are interested in joining our coalition please contact us.
